i am sorry i havent posted  i have not been on the computer all weekend . some of my wonderful friends here were worried. i am fine just crazied with amanda & christmas & working and being a wife & a mother cooking ,cleaning  the usual stuff. when i get home my day starts all over again . when chuck comes home he can just relax . chuck is doing wonderful sometimes he is so good it scares me he has been putting money in the bank we are paying our bills. i am so happy  i have   my family back together. i don't know if we are spending christmas with my brother & sister n law but as long as we are together that is all that matters

so christmas eve we will order chineese & christmas day we  will cook.

well my friends, i promise i will keep in touch even if i am tired thanks for caring . you are the best

This morning all I wanted to do was feel miserable.  So I came here to feel miserable.

But then I read posts like yours, and see that people can make a conscious decision to NOT feel miserable.

Glad to hear you're doing well.  Just be careful not to make the same mistake I did a few years ago and stop working on your recovery just because all is well right now.  We all have our own issues to deal with and as we continue to work the program we realize some of those issues actually have nothing whatsoever to do with the A's in our life.

I find that when I am so busy I forget to work on myself.  I was so upset over doing somethin so stupid to get fired.  I was in a hurry to find another job so I could pay all of the bills in case my husband screwed up our money again.

I found that I felt so low I started working on myselg again and I like spending time with me.  I an now not in a hurry to find a job.  If he pays bills, fine, if not that's okay too.

I am glad that you are doing good. Keep your guard up and make sure you take care of yourself. Unfortantly you never know when this will end. I am hoping for you it doesn't.

Chrissy, Glad to know that you are doing well. Keep taking it one day at a time with your hubby. I'll keep you and yours in my prayers. I know the feeling so well! I too am more crazed than usual! In one way being this busy keeps me from feeling sorry for myself. I tend to get blue at Chirstmas because I miss my parents, and my A will be with his children this year. We will do Christmas on Jan. 7 and take the weekend just for us. Well I smell another batch of critter cookies (homemade dog cookies for friends) ready to be taken out of the oven. Small holiday miracle in the works: the tree is still standing w/o being tied down. Not an ornament out of place. What a good kitty I have. Piper "Claus" definetly does not get coal in her stocking! thanks guys don't worry im am still taking care of me & working my recovery too  a little slower than i would like, but i am not giving up. i am still aware too that my happiness may have a relapse i really hope chuck is going to do it this time i have to say he has been wonderful more loving than ever.
