O, Higher Power, allow me to greet the coming day in peace. Help me in all things to rely upon Your holy will, In every hour of the day, reveal Your will to me. Bless my dealings with all who surround me. Teach me to treat all that comes to me throughout the day with peace of soul, and with the firm conviction that Your will governs all.
In what I do and say, guide my thoughts and feelings. In unexpected events, do not let me forget that all things are sent by You. Teach me to act firmly and wisely, without making others bitter or embarassing them. Give me the strength to bear the fatigue of the coming day and everything that it will bring. Direct my will, teach me to pray, pray Yourself in me. Amen.
Just thought I would share one of my prayers from a book I use daily, I find them to be so powerful, I am often crying when I read them, hope it gives comfort to you too.

Thanks Kitty, that's beautiful. Teach me to pray... yes. I have a hard time with that at times. Thank you again.

EXACTLY what I needed right at this moment. I am feeling weakness as I battle another bout of the disease this morning.
I always say that my HP posts through my friends on the board...this is another confirmation.

Can you say cut and paste?
Sorry Kitty, I'm keeping this one too. LOL
Thanks for sharing this with us. Especially for someone like myself who is only recently developing his relationship and communication with his HP this is a Godsend, (pun not initially intended, it just came out....but ya know what...I'm keeping it there, so it's intended) much like those whom god speaks to us through at meetings.

I'm just a cuttin' and a pastin' along with you, Bob.
There are so many posts on this board everyday and some of them are rather long, so I can't read them all, I wish could, but I can't. So, on busy days I scan the topics and read the ones that jump out at me. Like "captcodee" said, my HP must be picking them because I had no idea what I was opening when I started reading your post. The "topic" was not exactly telling, but I opened it and it meant so much to me today.
In case you didn't notice, this has been my long winded way of saying Thank You!!!
