My baby is still home.  I haven't let him out of my sight.  I'm afraid if I turn around his dad will come and grab him.  I did have to stop staring at him though, he said I was giving him the creeps.  He is ten and my daughter is eight.  Their dad did call me and said he was taking me to court.  That's okay.  That's where I'd like to go anyway.  I won't have the money to hire an attorney until the end of january when I get my taxes back.  If he takes me to court before then I can qualify for legal aid.  My step-dad called me today to say that their dad's girlfriend called him this evening to say that their dad and the school are pressing charges against him.  Apparently the school called him this morning (instead of their dad) and asked if he knew I was picking my son up for an appointment and my dad said yes.  They said he implied he was their father and that's why the school let him go with me.  Dad does not have custody so they couldn't have stopped me from picking him up at school anyway.

I know I have a battle on my hands.  I am going to see an attorney for the consultation next Friday (the 16th).  Maybe he can give me some pointers.

  I am happy for you & reading your post, lifted my mood...  I've never had a baby but I love my mom more than anyone, I am so happy for you & your children!!    I can see how it would be hard not to want to hug the incessantly ~ I do that to my cats when I'm feeling happy or sad!!!  Gotta love that love!

I think that your HP had some involvement yesterday.

Who cares who screwed up, or what is going to happen tomorrow.  Just for today, you have your son.  A girl has to do what a girl has to do, right?
