Im starting to see the importance of having an AlAnon book. At the open discussion meetings they seem to be the focal point.

Can I buy one at most meetings?

We use the CAL (Conference Approved Literature) at our meetings Courage to Change, One Day At a Time In Alanon, Hope For Today, From Survival To Recovery, Paths To Recovery, and How Alanon Works in our meetings. Not in every meeting, but we use them. I was able to buy all those books at my meetings. I am not sure how they do it in your area, but you can ask.

I read my literature all the time at home and I have found it to be so helpful.

Also a really good book I got at my meeting was The Dilema of the Alcoholic Marriage. I really got alot out of it.
