Hi all...

This is an update on Danielle, the friend of my daughter who was seriously injured in an auto accident a few weeks back.  She is still unconscious, has had plastic surgery on her face to fix broken bones, and is responding to being pinched, or having her nose wiped, etc.  But the doctors still can't say when or if she will wake up, or if she will be emotionally like she was when she had the wreck.  If anyone wants to read about her, our local paper has an article on her on their webste...www.dicksonherald.com.  Just click on "benefits being held for CWHS senior".  Thanks all for your interest in her.  Please continue to pray for her.  I told her stepmom that I put prayer requests on this website, and she got really tearful.  I'm sure it helps for her to know that we all are praying for her and keeping them in your thoughts.

Thanks for the update. That poor child! I hope it is a good sign that she is responding to some stimuli.

Thank you both for your thoughts and prayers.  She was in an induced coma about a week or so ago, but it was only for a few days to settle the brain activity down a bit.  She came out of it but is still unconscious.  I appreciate everyone who has expressed concern for her.

Kathi, Thanks for the update. Please tell her parents that we will continue to keep her in our thoughts and paryers, along with her entire family. It's a hard time of year to think about doing the holidays. Somehow it just doesn't feel right. How's your daughter doing with all of this? Love and prayers to your family as well.
