I was always encouraged to make things growing up. Three years ago I made a card for my "parents" (mother & her husband - the aalb).
It was their 23rd Anniversary (last week they are at 26) - it was really special to me, I love the #23, here goes the card:
Love is never ending
infininetly continues to expand
forever and ever
eternally
May your marriage be overflowing with all of the love
that the Universe has to offer.
With the gifts of Innocence and Purity
Cleansing your lives of any past karmic debt...
Santifying you in this perfection and
Blessing you throughout all of the rest of your days.
Happy Anniversary, Congradulations on your twenty third magical year together!
Lovingly, Your daughter (Kitty) and here is to many more.
Uhh... me a hopeless romantic? NO! Well, yes I still am - everytime I have ever had a broken heart, I would go & stroke it's little bloody self until it was able to stop bleeding & be whole again. I refuse to ever become bitter or not "believe" in true love, even if that means the truest love, is the relationship one has within themselves & with God spiritually. The very idea of "cleaving" to someone & 'becoming one flesh' is a misnomer... two loving ppl, mind-body-soul ought to be whole & capable of loving each other completely so that they create another entity, the one that they are together, something beyond the two... kind of like with the three dimensions, a fourth is created.
I do believe in love in the most magical, innocent pure form of it as a possibility but why does it have to be a legality? Why drag the state into it? I want to be free, me & Greta Garbo, I don't think I shall ever marry (again) - not that I am afraid of committment - far from it, I am so willing to commit, I am committable, I just want to be loved freely & true.
Flying unicorns innocently dance over rainbows & waltz in the dew with their dreams.
I want to love myself that much & more... light.

I loved the imagery in the post that you shared after as well.
I did have one friend once who we each saw light one time. I didn't think much of it until now. Things that make you go....hmmmmmmm.
