I always had you, but never acknowledged it

 

I wanted someone to love me

I wanted someone to care

I never acknowledged that you God were always there

I had something missing in my heart

For my life was falling apart

I thought you God had abandoned me

For I was lost in the dark, and I could not see

But God you were there every step of the way

With words of encouragement to say

I feel your presence each time I look into your face

My heart starts to beat at fast pace

I pray to you, and I know that you will intercede

For a life starts with a seed

You water me, and I grow

Giving me everything I need to know

I love you forever,I will like you for always, and as long as I am alive you are mine

So God send me a sign

I love it!  I think it was Roseanne Cash's mom?  Not quite sure if that is where it came from, but was heard saying, that God gives us a miracle each day, our job is to find it!  You are doing great.  Prayer helps so very much.
