Do I find that I constantly analyze things to avoid making decisions?"
- Yikes, how do they know that??? I am responsible for my own misery, and my own happiness.
If I find that the stove is too hot, I won't analyze the heat, I shall not touch it.
If I like the temperature of the lake, I shall not analyze the depth, I shall swim longer.
If i like the cake, I shall not analyze the calories, I shall have a big peice.
If I am not comfortable on the swing, I shall not analyze the seat, I shall get off.
If I don't like being yelled at, I shall not analyze the words, I shall walk away.
If I like my misery, I shall keep it, if not, I shall give it away.
If I don't like my husband, I shall leave him. If I don't like being alone, I shall stay. I have to decide which is best for me.
It is all my choice. I am responsible for my own happiness. Honestly, it is THAT SIMPLE.

Happy Birthday to you ,,,,doo doo doooo,,,, Happy Birthday to you,,,,doo doo doooo, Happy Birthday dear Aron My Dear Friend,,,la la laaaaa, Happy Birthday to YOUUUUUU :) Let's have combined celebrations :) We are two days apart but I wonder who is older? hmmm I sure know who is wiser :) you you you :) This is a great post Aron! The thing it made me think of is how when we grow up we think certain things are normal,,, at least they are to us and we end up going to that we feel familiar with. or In some cases due to our low self esteem. Breaking that old pattern sure takes time and energy, but when a person "breaks out of the box" or lines of safety, there is such amazing things in store for them :) I am not sure if this marriage will last here, but in the mean time, I am taking care of me :) And gosh! Does Birthday Cake have to have calories? :) xoxoxoxo smoochies,,,cdb :)

Happy Birthday!!!
Thanks for that post, it is true I guess if I looked at how much I analyzed myself, my "a", my parents, my past it's no wonder I analyzed myself into confusion. In the everyday mundane decisions I don't fret over what to decide, I just do it as I need to. Applying this theory to the bigger issues in my life I have struggled with because of fear of making the wrong decision. It's a leap of faith that I just have not had in my HP or myself. I am getting better. I really like this perspective. Have a great B-day!!

That's a cool post Aron....
Yep, I think we all tend to look at things for what we "want them to be", as opposed to "what they are".... I know I certainly did that, in hanging onto my marriage for so long with my (then active A). I guess it goes back to what my sponsor always reminds me..... to focus on the "whats", and not the "whys".
Thanks for sharing.

p.s. Happy Birthday!!!!!
