I at times, start future tripping, is what I call it, worrying about things that haven't happened because of the histroy of my yesterdays...I started looking at quotes and found one that I really like, wanted to share...it has to do with staying in the present, letting yesterday go and not worrying about tomorrow....
Hugs Mary
"We can easily manage if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday's burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it." ~John Newton

Yes, John Newton. And, an excellent quote by him. He created the phrase, "Habitual Tenderness." Which in short, was a phrase he used to define how all of us choose to live when we walk with and believe in God...a life of habitual tenderness. I always liked the way he put that...says a lot.

So true. Doesn't it feel good to do what ya can each day, then be able to let it all go
I used to carry the world on my shoulders. Believe me I had shoulder pain too.
Surrendering and day at a time are great. hugs and love, debilyn
