A's son called today and I said I wasn't sure when he(A) would be back. Immediatly, he asks, "today?" In other words, has he gone on a binge?

Does the wondering ever end? It seems that there is always that doubt in our minds, even when things are going good.

Maybe we should all just take one day at a time, and pray for the best. Sometimes it's hard. You finally relax and let your guard down, and OOPS! there he goes again, then you're wondering all over again!

I try to let it go, but I still can't totally relax. Guess I need to start the steps all over again and work hard. I know I need to do this, but will I? Or will I just let it slide as uaual? I have seen so many here working so hard and doing so well!

Guess I'm dreading Christmas and all the drama that goes with it. Sorry folks, feeling down tonight for no reason really. One day at a time, right? let tomorrow take care of itself, or, better yet,give it to HP! Think I'll go play my new organ, I love the Hyms.

Maybe that'll remind me to let go and let God, I feel closer to Him when I play. Hope you are all ok, and sending my love and prayers to a fantastic group of people, Love TLC

Thought you could use a hug!  Sometimes just reflecting helps me.  Some days are better then others.  You are strong.  Believe in yourself and be gentle.  Remember your a work in progress.  I also try to stay in the present.  Yesterday can not be changed and we can not know what will happen tomorrow.  My father use to tell me that there is no need to fear tomorrow because God's already there....

Sorry you are feeling down. I hope the organ playing helps. Thats the only way to do it, keep busy with something you enjoy.

It's hard always waiting for the other shoe to drop. We just have to have faith and enjoy the present.

I fear the holidays as well. I love them, it is such a magical time, but the drama and chaos always seems to interfere. I just try and remember what they are all about and to concentrate on the wonder of it.

hi sweetie, Well hmmm ya know, for me, it i like it does not matter. Once it is very apparent he has used, I go into serene mode and stay away from him and stop answering any questions he asks and i don't talk to him except politely. If he uses a swear word I turn around and leave the room or what ever. I don't get mad, i just refuse to allow a stupid disease to mess with me. I won't allow a human to, I sure am not going to let Aism. I sure know whatcha mean though. Things feel pretty darn good, maybe its been a week or two then ya smell it, or they are not talking right, or they are mean all of a sudden. Then hopefully you can go into give him to hp mode and hold that good feeling for them inside until they come back. anyway lotsa hugs, debilyn
