Here it is a friday night ny A is in bed with his drink next to him. I'm sitting alone doing nothing but thinking. That all I do these day is think about how all this happened. They say you don't cause a person to drink but he was not like this when we married 26 years ago what happened the girls are away for the weekend, they are all grown up one will be married next year. So this should be a time when my husband and i can really enjoy life and all it has to offer. I know i didn't cause it but what did?

You are right no one is the cause of a persons drinking...You did not hold a gun to his head and say drink...So never feel at fault...

We in alanon have the 3c's which are we can't control drinking,cure it,or change it...

I know you do not know alot about me which i don't mind if you ask me questions...Yes I am young,but have been through a whole lot...

Drinking is an illness...it disrupts the persons thinking,and sometimes their whole personality...
