I started the day worrying about my A. I ended my day doing things for me. I had taken the day off...started like Isaid calling my A and worrying about where he slept last night...byt the time he called me back this afternoon I had thought over things and realized I have nothing good to say to him right now, so why bother? Every time I picked up the phone I had to remind myself "why bother"....I went grocery shopping, got a maincure and pedicure, went out to dinner with my stepdaughter and her mother and then watched her audition for a talent show. I had a lovely night. My A had called to say that he needed to stop by to pick up some linens this evening as he will be moving into a "sober" house. This is a house owned by a guy in AA with a bunch of sober guys living there, not a state regulated sober house. I said fine and got off the phone. No fuss no muss. Good day overall. Monday I am going to see an attorney to check out my options. Thank you all for your support. It's been a bumpy ride and I'm sure it will continue to be as I navigate through the sea of recovery.

Good for you Kim.... yeah, it'll be bumpy at times, but the more good days and experience you have under your belt, the better you'll be able to manage.... Way to take care of you!

Great Job to keep the focus on you sweetie...
All we have is this one day at a time in our recovery..... We might have hills and valleys in our recovery but I have also found peace and a straight road for a short period of time too!!
