Today makes 26 years that my parents (My mother & step-father) have been married.  I kept saying 27 years...  the last 4 months have felt like an entire year.

July 19th, I was told that my step-dad had been cheatting with mistresses & prostitutes for over 15 years.  The news devastated me, as my mom & I put him "over" us for for SO LONG - giving him the best food, us doing without necessities...  I would even eat his left-overs, he left so much food on his plate, just so wasteful.

Today my mother decided that their relationship will be business only & he is moving from the pool-house into one of the rent houses that has been empty for some time.

It is appopriate that this is the day of the beginning & the day of the "end".

At least now, my poor betrayed & broken hearted mother will have some space & peace to get her life back.

I continue to work on & strengthen myself in the program, learning how to put myself "first" one day at a time.

Give your Mum a hug from me as well.  It takes a lot of strength to make a decision like that after being together so many years.   Today's date will be significant for both you and your Mum.  You can only go up from here.  Luv  Leo
