Hope all of you are doing well. I have been feeling sick with the flu the past couple days and just can't seem to get on track.
I was laid off from my job about a month ago and not having any luck finding something. I know I can't worry myself sick as that does not help the situation.
I had talked to my A b/f on Tuesday nite and told him how I felt about our relationship...that I felt he had no time for me in his life and that it was going nowhere. He wanted to talk this past weekend and called on Saturday night. He was sober and sounded great. We had a wonderful chat and I still care about him. I have detached from his drinking and I know I am making progress. He is a good guy, a wonderful father to his son and step children, and I still have hope that he and I make it together. He and I have talked about my brother and his drinking ..and that he went to treatment and has been sober for 70 days.. and I know it has put a scare in him what the drinking can do to one's family, job and health. I have set boundaries with him and will not talk to him when he is under the influence. I have let go and let god~"If he brings me to this, he will get me through it"

Wow. A lot on your plate right now, and yet I can really feel the peace you have about the situation to trust your HP and keep progressing forward. You have courage and patience. My prayers and thoughts are with you. And, I will add you to my prayer list as well that the answers, choices, actions and thoughts you need will come to you when the time is right for that new job! :) Thanks so much for sharing this. I know the flu thing...I got hit hard with it today...a gift from my adorable son who spiked a lovely 102.1 temp with it last Thursday...my eyes are burning and watering as I type this...lol...oh well. :)

I'm sorry you're feeling . Just make sure to take good care of yourself. Sending you some homemade chicken soup with extra garlic in it!
You did very well with your boyfriend and brother. Good for you. I'm proud of you. I hope and pray that some work will come your way soon. You are a very patient woman not to mention strong. Keep up the good work.
