I guess i will be stuck at learning to become less involved with others & more involved with myself... 38 is 4 months away & I'm just learning to put myself first, love myself first.
God has never left me - I have chosen not to listen in the past... well at least THAT has changed! I am talking back to god, praying & surrendering, communing.
It appears my ex husband is headed for jail & my step-father is still active.
God, I give them to You, as I have no desire to interfere with Your Divine Plan. I only wish for your will. I will not ever try to force anything ever again... my ears & eyes are wide open.
I thank You for making me such a sensitive creature, it has taken me so long to understand the value of these gifts. Truly, You are the God who creates Miracles.

We must be almost exactly the same age. I will be 38 in 4 months also. Feb 17th. Yikes I don't even like the way that looks when I type it, nevermind how it sounds.
*God grant me the serenity to accept the fact that I'm almost 38,
The courage to change the way I view that number,
and the wisdom to act my age* LOL!!

God can and will work miracles, if we let him. Your post is such a nice reminder to turn things over to him. Too often, it try doing that, but then I keep getting in the way.
You are never too old to start looking at yourself in a good way. Hey 38 is still young, and is jjust another number. Everyone always told me 40 was the scarey on, but that came and went, and now the 40's are slipping away.
We are only as old as we feel, and we get better each year. (Especially if we stick with our programs and take care of oursleves).

For some of us it takes more than once. Take me for example. I've been trying for 18 years and I'm 40 tomorrow. Yikes. Keep with it. It works.
