I am even afraid to say very much about what has been happening to me (since Tuesday)...  I beg of you my friends ask HP to protect me...  my ex threatened to kill me so many times I cannot even recall, he told me hundreds of times to kill myself (in the bathtub so it wouldn't be hard or too messy to clean up).

 

I left him over six yrs ago - I felt like he ruined my life & I had been in a deep dark depression all of this time...  I only JUST forgave him in my heart & soul & with God a mere 3 weeks ago & the feds are investigating him...  like any abuser & bully he told me CONSISTNETLY IF I EVER SPOKE OF HIM HE WOULD HUNT ME DOWN KILL ME & MY ENTIRE FAMILY.

I am hysterical, I feel like I am in grave danger...  my ex (addict) was an utter psycho, nvr "let me leave the room w/out his permission" I was held captive & emotional, physiologically & spiritually terrorized for four LONG years.

The moment I let go of the anger in my heart...  these cops are calling me asking me questions, I have not been able to sleep all week - I had one of the worst anxiety attacks ever yesterday (& I have had many in my life) I felt like I was on the verge of another nervous breakdown - I have had several of those too.

God help me, I pray he gets help, allow me Father to go unoticed by him, he is a demon, I KNOW he wants to kill me.

I pray continually for the healing of Mother Earth - God pls, just let me be... pls take care of him...  he has already hurt me beyond anything I could ever imagine enduring - I don't know how I got out alive...  I am a wreck & a basket case, trying to breathe, praying hourly for protection & healing.

I guess I need to change my name &/or address - this is just a living terrible nightmare.

Are there any transition houses where you are ? have u asked the police for protection ?  is there a friend that would be willing to come and stay with you ? -----  stay safe do what u have to do for yourself stay close to people who love you.  I will pray that u get thru this . sounds trite  I know but  This too shall Pass .     Louise

 

 

Kitty, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get the heck out of there! Tell the police what is going on. Go to a shelter even one out of town. Call the domestic violence or crime victim's assistance hotline: NOW! This is not something that can be done just by praying. Prayers are fine and good, but unless they are going to make the call for you, it's up to you. If you can't make the call, have a friend. If you have to leave everything behind to save your life, then DO IT! Material things can be regained, your life is more important. Don't waste your prayers on a demon like that. It's not worth it. You can do this. You left him behind 6 years ago. Do it again: NOW! If the local police won't help you, then go to the State Troopers or the feds. They have ways to protect you. Your life is far more valuable. DO IT NOW! DO NOT AROUND WITH THIS! THIS IS LITERALLY YOUR LIFE. TAKE IT BACK FROM THAT ! You're in our thoughts and prayers. Please, please be careful. Stop and think what you must do to protect yourself.  Write it down if you have to.  Get a restraining/no contact order, if he calls or contacts you in anyway call 911.  He will go to jail immediatly.  I agree with the posting above, call the domestic Violence hotline where you live, tell them your story.  You are asking your HP to protect you but you will have to make the steps needed on your end to help your HP.  He will tell you in your heart what you need to do.  Stay safe!

I agree with everyone else.  You need to protect yourself right now at all costs.  Too many women have felt as you do now, didn't act on it, and ended up becoming a statistic.  Don't let this happen to you! 

Is there anyone you could stay with for a while until he is arrested?

Have you explained to the cops questioning you that you literally fear for your life regarding this man?

I know restraining orders seem more often than not a waste of time because usually the abuser doesn't abide by them, however they are a necessary part of the paper trail needed to get them behind bars.  If you don't have one, please take the time to get one.

Have you made sure all your locks are secure and that he doesn't have any keys to your place?  Window locks in place?  Do you have a dog and if not have you thought about getting one?  A large one preferably.  How about a security system?

Just some thoughts on what you might considering doing to make sure you're safe.  Noone should have to live in fear like this and I'm sorry you are going through this.  We're all here for you.

 

If you ex is making specific threats like that against you I would think that legally he can be arrested and charged.    I know here in the State of Wisconsin if someone says that they are going to kill themselves and offers a plan or idea in how they might do that they are held in a mental facility under State Law and are not allowed to be released until they deem he/she is fit to be released.  I would ask the police about the direct threats that he is making to you and even the fact that he tells you specifically what should occur.  The other thing you might want to check in the state that you live in order to prove this is if you state is a 1 party electronic recording state.  Some states allow legal electronic recording devices where as long as 1 party in the conversation knows it is being recording it is legal to record their conversation.  This being the case, whenever your ex is talking to you, you legally have a right to record the conversation without his knowledge...   However, before doing this please make sure that the state you live in is a 1 party recording state.  You could probably consult an attorney just to confirm that, as I don't want to assume that this is legal everywhere.  I know it is here in Wisconsin, as I've used it on a couple of occasions. 

The other law this might fall under is Stalking?  This is a rather serious form of stalking I would think.

This is not about Alanon principals, or forgivness. You can not just ignore or pray this away. You need to take action. This man is dangerouse and you need to protect yourslef. Contact your local police, and ask for protection. Like the others said , if they don't listen, contact teh Sherrif or State Police or a womans shelter, or anyone who will listen to you. Now is not the time for pride. You CANNOT do this alone.

Please take care of yourself and get somewhere safe, not tomorrow or next week, now!

you have to listen to what everyone is telling you and get out now. go to your police station file a order of protection. you have to protect you!!!!!!

in ny there is womens coalition it helps women who are abused both physically & mentally there has to be a hotline also. i don't know where you live maybe there is one in your area? you may need to move absoultely. & change your #s. can you stay with a friend or family member that he doesnt know make sure you take your important papers with you and don't forget your phone book you have important #s in there, that you may need and you do not want him to have. contact your church maybe  they can help you also.

That is not a safe environment to be in, and I know you know that. I think you think you can change him, and help him. Your life is more important. I would not want anything bad to happen to you. He is threatening you, and he may or may not mean it but you do not need to find that out. Go to a shelter, or a safe place. This happened to me, but with my dad, he threatened to kill me or my family if I ever told about the abuse, which i finally did, and guess what?? he came after me and held me at knifepoint... not fun and I dont want you to make this same awful mistake. I am here for you because I can totally realate to you

Well, yesterday when I freaked out - I was all light & happy & all of a sudden I had this awful anxiety attack -- the police have talked to him already & I know he blames me... 

the police were only able to get thru to my mother Tuesday afternoon & they questioned her then she cd me & told me about it. So far they cannot get my ph #.  The X already has my parent's address & I am moving back there.

This way if he gets wind of this...    he will know where to find me.   

 

More than one action/plan needs to be put into place. Cameras must be discreetly installed, not only where he thinks you are but where you really are. Part of it involves packing up your babies and relocating them.

Although a restraining order is a good idea for the requisite paper trail, the "creature" would not honor it.  

I would prefer to give specific details privately, if you are interested.
