If you are willing to sponsor someone please put you name down. Maybe we can hook people up so they will have good matches and helps everyone. There is alot of people including me that are looking for online sponsors.

I am totally willing to be an "online sponsor", however, I do not want to replace a real face to face sponsor. I feel the benefit of online sponsorship to be valid, and a good way for people to "practice" asking for one, and to get a general feel of what a real sponsor could consist of.
Anyone proposing to be an online sponsor, I encourage you to encourage your online sponsee to get a face to face sponsor as well...

I am one of those who could use a sponsor. There are al-anon meetings in my area (about 40 minutes away from my house actually), but they are held at 8:00 at night. I have young children who are in bed by 7:30 and I have noone to watch mykids--not mentioning the fact that I'm a little bit of a baby myself and try to get to bed early because my days seem so long--I teach school and if I'm dead physically the next day I'm in serious trouble.
Are these excuses too much? I just don't really feel that right now I can go out that late at night and I don't know what to do about my kids--but I know it would be good to have someone face to face to talk to. I am horrible with names and while I like reading these posts I get confused with who is who. I am so scattered all the time I think f2f stuff would help, but the thought is so overwhelming.
