Hi everyone I just want to say hi. I haven't been here for a while I've been trying to go to school to get my GED. I have been to two meetings to. See my A husband had to go out of town last Wednesday the 6th and Thursday the 7th so I got to go it was grate. I hate to say this but when he was gone I felt so good until he came back. I didn't have the stress I have everynight that he's home. I feel bad for saying that but it is so true. I wasn't so tired I got to bed at a good hour and could sleep good. Now things are back to were they where. I've been reading my books everyday it helps until he wants me to do something for him he gets mad at me but i am learning not to let it get to me. I think I'm doing good. I haven't cried because he tell me it's all my falt he gets sick and it's all my falt we are fighting. I am just taking it (ONE DAY AT A TIME). Well, I will go for now thanks for listing. Good Night
LOVE,
ROBYN

{{{{{{{Robyn}}}}}}}} You got to two meetings! That is so good. Remember that none of this is your fault. He has a disease. You didn't cause it, you can't control it, and you can't cure it. Keep reading, try to get to more meetings, and keep coming back here. You are on the road to improvement.

(((((((((((RDP))))))))))) You are doing great. My A trys to blame me for stuff too. Today is day 16 since I asked him to leave. I haven't slept this well in years. I feel strong and finally in control of my life. I know when he would go fishing for the weekend I so looked forward to having peace in our home. He is not an angry drunk, but all the stuff that goes with it is hard. I think it is great your getting your GED! You are starting to make choices that affect your life. Work hard, you can do this. I had a hard time with where my A ended and I began, our lives become to entangled in theirs and their drama. Sounds like you are untangling all that. It takes time. Hang in there.

Hello Robyn,
from one newbie to another. keep working your program it really does work. I left my active A almost 2 yrs ago with out any knowledge of this program. but with alot of support from my family. I found alanon this past may because I met a fellow online, we started dating and he is 15yrs recovery. funny thing too is that my brother is AA and I never really understood him or the program till I met my guy who led me here. Has been a wonderful growth time for me. Good luck with your schooling, that just might lead you to a place that you didnt think you would be.......be strong.
