sober, I'm sorry you are in so much mental pain and am glad you are seeking help. Can you not express it w/o using the vulgar language? In Alanon we learn that we can "choose" many things and walk away from the things that we can. I think many of us have chosen not to be subjected to the language. As was posted before, many put up with verbal abuse from their spouse or alcoholic. To many, this is the only safe place. You are welcome here Sober, but please try to understand the feelings of others and refrain from the language. Calling us a**holes isn't going to get you much sympathy/help here. It's all really very simple... Just clean it up. Christy
