I wanted to update everyone I am home now after leaving my husband of 19 years for over 2 weeks. I have been home now for almost 2 weeks and things are really going well. ( taking it day by day ) My husband the A is going to counseling and so am I then this week we started our first JOINT counseling session. He for the first time admitted in front of someone other than me that he has a problem with alcohol. We are going away this weekend , camping with the kids. We are all very excited about getting away for the weekend. Anyway, I am taking ONE DAY at A TIME.. Continuing to read and attend f2f meetings. Not for him but for ME> I have to take the focus off his drinking and put it on ME.. I ask God EVERY DAY to help strengthen me and guide me down the path he wants me to take. I ask that God give my husband strength to fight this disease and his addiction. I wanted to THANK EVERYONE for their prayers, and kind words.. This is really a wonderful site with so many WONDERFUL people.. Thanks and please keep praying we are still so new on this journey ..Learning everyday .. Tammy
