I have been reading all the recent posts, with a bit of bewilderment, on how easily we can all get off track from our true purpose for being here..... to focus on ourselves, to learn, and to grow. The diversions of the last week make up the "noise" that interrupt our own recoveries.... I tend to forget how very much like our A's we are in our respective recoveries.... Whereas active alcoholics allow themselves to focus on anything & everything outside of their addiction & their recovery, we have an unnerving tendency to do exactly the same!!
The Serenity Prayer sure comes in handy during these times.....
I am choosing, as of this moment, to get back on track with the stuff I need to do, for MY health and well being.
Take care
