Hi everyone..

Lately I have been feeling really strange. Everything seems to be going good for me, I just made caption of my cheerleading squad, I am doing great in school, and I have the best time that I have ever had with my friends. But I am feeling realy empty.

My mom is a alcoholic and she has just been diagnoisted with a blleding stomach alcer. Drinking makes her problem even worse, it is making her health even worse then it already was. Its like every time I see her she looks worse then the time before. I feel that I am watching her die, Its like I have to prepare myself for the day that she does die. It really hurts.

I dont know what to do. My heart is hurting so bad. I am only 13 and was token away from my mom when I was 9, but it hurts alot. I need her, even if I dont like to admit it.

I am so scared.

Huggggss, I see what my children go through because of the issues with their Dad and watching him slowly get worse and worse in his condition. Do you have any family that you can turn too for support? If not, friends or a Pastor? Of course, you ALWAYS have us online here and also face to face meetings where you can meet others to help you through, but never limit your resources. There are many people out there that care and can help you through this... Most importantly, pray and ask God for strength and comfort to get through anything you need to. Take Care-- My prayers are with you. :) Always remember, God is right there beside you. When you feel alone and afraid if you close your eyes, take some deep breathes and envision God there hearing all your thoughts.... Let Him take them and then just be patient. Answers, strength and prayers will come when the time is right.

Oh dear Meg, I wish there were words I could say that would stop your pain. Alas, there are none. Your enjoy being happy in school, and I will keep you and your mother in my prayers. Hi Princess,

It doesn't matter how old you are you always want your Mum.  Just remember she is the adult and you are the child.  It must be heartbreaking to see her in pain.  Keep writing to us all here and release the emotions you are feeling inside.  There will always be one of us awake at some time in different parts of the world to communicate with you.
