My sister has evacuated from Houston to 3 hours northwest of there to stay with her best friends parents.

She is driving there now and I can't reach her cell, overloaded circuits.

I will say prayers for the safety of those in the path of hurricane rita

Hey Katilyn I am here in Texas in the path of the storm My family and I are doing well! I will keep you all posted on how we are doing as the storm passes!! I am worried about others in the storms path too please continue to pray for all of them as this storm looks nasty!!
