Well, it is day 3 and I have what i think is a good update. My husband called and he is going to a counselor tomorrow. THAT IS HUGE.. He was ALWAYS against this and insisted he didnt need a shrink .. Not him BiG strong MAN... You are probably wondering what I said.. Well, I said that is a start a step in the right direction. I am taking the kids to counseling and I am going now he is going.. It is day 4 and still no drinking or at least that is what he says.. ( i do believe him this time ) .. Maybe he finally sees what he could loose.?? I would like to think that he will continue on the right path but I am not putting all my faith there yet. But I have been praying A LOT and I know that if anyone can heal this disease God CAN.. I am feeling alittle better today. I did see an attorney today just to make sure I knew my options. I will not move forward with the divorce until my HP tells me to .. Who knows maybe our 19 year marriage can be saved. I need him to make several things happen before we move back. NOw i just need to figure out what exactly I want.. Setting boundries is going to be critical.. I believe that he should be well on his way to recovery, his relationship with our son should be repaired, and our relationshiip must be mended. I am again, turning it over to God. Just thought you might want an update.. Thank you for all your wonderful emails of support. It has really helped me during this very difficult time.
