One day at a time. i know you hurt, every right too. How old is your step daughter? If you guys are close, believe me she will want to see you. Especially as her teenager from hell comes thru, her mom will love for you to share this wonderful time! In fact the girl may be better for you than mom. don't give up hon, love can give you so many miracles. Please know this girl, loves you very much. Things change in life, but when a person takes one day at a time, it helps so much to really glean all you can out of life. Every night I thank hp for another day. sending you love,debilyn

My stpedaughter is 10 and just began the fifth grade. She is wonderful and bright and truly a testament to a HP.  I do know that she loves me and luckily, I spoke to her mother yesterday about my continuing visitation with her every other weekend  for now and she said "yes, as long as he's not here, I don't want him seeing her right now"  To which I replied "fine, I don't want to see him right now either".  So, the loss just isn't as great. I thank you for your words, it helped to hear it.
