I've had my 30 day check-in with my caseworker. Lucky I had that list that i'd put up in here with me; she loved it. Now to focus on job search. Only remaining hurdle is vocational rehab on 20th.
I'd almost forgot...chiropractor requires fitness tests...
standup/sitdown 51 reps up from 33 benchmark
crunches 30 up from 20. 24 benchmark
partnered back free movement (this one hurts) 53 sec up from 33, benchmark 90 sec.
so i am gettin fitter, losing about a pound a week :)
This is a big festival weekend, so there will be lots to do, all on transit lines, whether I have money in pocket or not. Food stamps allow me $5 a day of cold food, and it so nice to appreciate a simple meal of bread, cheese and fruit. (I still have plenty of the food i brought with me).
I did hit a meeting after I saw caseworker so am calming down a bit. I appreciate (more than you know) being allowed to kvetch and show my emotions so freely.
As to the expense thing...I am learning how to on far less than I ever dreamed and like it. I also put it up as a 7th Tradition reminder to me. Once I get a job and am able to support myself, I can apply these lessons and begin to rebuild on rock instead of sand.
Without you this wouldn't be possible...
infinite gratitude to all...
