Well, he's topped himself.  He calls to leave me a message that he's stopped payment on the insurance check and that he checked with the police already and that since we are married there's nothing I can do b/c it's considered marital property. So there you have it...he has become truly evil.  It's ridiculous b/c the title is still in my name. He can't do anything without it. Stupid man. The thing is, I am so devasted that he is doing this. He has never been this vindictive. No it's getting ugly.  I'm just sad that it's this way.  Please say a prayer it's onlygoing to get uglier.

HI kIM = he is just getting even  don't let it bother you . he will end up doin himself in if he's not careful. He probably is ticked because your not asking him to come back. It's booze Kim and if it looks like your happy with out him he is just reacting ,continue to get on with your life

Alcoholism is progressive and is a 3 fold disease , mental , physical and spiritual . symptoms are progressive too.  buckle up its liable to get nasty don't react continue to look after your mental health and protect yourself money wise ,and u will be ok.  good luck  Louise

Thanks Louise. I needed that. I'm just so devastated. You're right it probably will get nastier...I just want peace. My hands are tied until Monday morning which is driving me crazy. But, first thing Iwill drop the insurance, return the plates, change the bills to my name and I'm considering changing my phone number. I just want this over. My 3rd anniversary is in 9 days. My birthday in 15. What a great year.

I think they are afraid, afraid that we can move on without them and heres the kicker... BE HAPPY.. I agree with Louise, try to focus on yourself... Try to focus on the light at the end of the storm. I know that I have ask my husband to leave the house and he says NO !! You leave.. Well, that may not sound bad but I have 2 children and no where to go .. They are in school, and have lives.. I think that he knows that if he leaves it will be OVER>. So I live one day at a time.. Focusing on ME and the KIDS.. Just focus on the light at the end of the storm.. Hi, sorry things are so hard for you just now. Just remember, giving in to his bullying may give some peace for a while, but it will be a false peace. Stand strong, even though it is so hard. You have the right to look after yourself, no matter what he says. He's mad and scared because you're making him face his own behaviour. So much easier and more comfortable for him to blame all his unhappiness on you.

He is striking back in the only way he knows how; being a bully. You stay the course. All will work out fine, but be prepared for things to get worse before they get better. You are in my prayers, Diva
