HI guys. I have a request to make of everyone. a couple weeks ago I asked you guys to pray for me about my relationship with HP and surrendering and it really helped put me in contact and get me started on healing my realtionship with my spirituality. thank you thankyou SO much everyone and anyone who offered thier prayer about that.
Right now I'm having another challenge that I could use yr spiritual support around. I'm getting the hang of 'surrender' and learning why it has been so hard for me and Me and my HP are working together well except for one thing...
I have my romantic relationship (of about a year) in a death-grip vice of controlling and clingy needy jealous bull right now, I've been refusing to let go of my illusion of control, and it has come clear to me that the only way I can even increase the LIKELYHOOD of the survival of this relationship, which is very important to me is if I manage to release my will around it and surrender the whole thing up to god. all of it. let go. But it is really hard. I can see my grip around this is tight and white knuckled. I'm scared and I need some wisdom and some strength.
So will you please pray for me to release this bastion of refusal to offer up my will to my HP? I'm really struggling even though I know it is the only right path.

I heard once an illustration of "letting go." Imagine if you will something in your hand...close fisted, hanging on tight. Letting go doesn't necessarily mean opening up your fist (fingers towards the ground) and opening it up, but turning your hand around and opening it gently to the heavens. A very graceful and loving gesture on your part. Allowing your HP to to take away what needs to be. You are loved......your HP is there. We just need to remember that in order for him/her/or whatever your HP may be to help you let go, you need to open your hand and allow release.
We all are in the same boat, sweetie....together w/time, patience, love and support we can live the life we deserve.

Remember progress not perfection, we didn't get this way in one day, so we need time to unlearn soem behaviours.
