As i have been unable to get into chat room....and I need to share ....here I am. After my A being 2 hours late picking up kids on Friday,  I was not happy when I could not reach his appt to say good night to the kids. So I called at 8:30 in am on Sat. and spoke with my oldest...everything seemed ok.  His mom show went to his appt a couple of hours later and wound up taking girls with her as he was "asleep". Its a good thing she did as later that day he was involved in an accident...his fault... and left the scene as he had let his insurance lapse.  He rearended someone so badly that his own airbag deployed and his truck is messed up but driveable. Well I was just called by his mom and she told me he was arrested, his truck impounded and she was bringing his dog over here (which is ok ...hes a good dog). I have not yelled, or cried...I hope he decides to get help. I will not bail him out and hope his mother does not either. I'm was feeling a little anxious but its starting to subside. If it wasnt for this program I would be a wreck at this point. If he calls collect I will accept and be cordial and try to stay that way....but I cant help him and now I understand why. Thankyou to all my pals here and to my HP .....who I think I need to talk to now.

I am so sorry all of this is happening.  You are doing great!!! I hope your computer gets fixed so you can be with us when you need.  When I could not get into the room, I was completely frustrated.

The best advice someone gave to me about my co-dependent nature is exactly what you are doing.  "do not interupt anyone else reaping what they sow" it mess with what each individual needs to learn.
