Thank you so much for sharing this and The Awakening. They both touched my heart. The awakening touched me because I have been struggling my whole life to please everyone around me, therefore, making myself miserable. Al-anon has taught me to like myself and to realize that it's ok if someone else doesn't. These post just reinforced that for me and I thank you for sharing them with us.
