Hiya Everyone,

Just wanted to share that the campout was a great success.  I, personally, had a great time.  It was so wonderful to meet Maria, Megan, AbFaith, and Fiona.  The weekend had it bumps for some of us - but being able to share with each other was such a gift.

We had some excitement in the campground by way of an arrest of 2 wanted criminals staying across the street from us.  We had a wonderful lobster dinner, smores, and some great sharing.  And they all sang happy birthday to me.  It is a gift I will treasure the memories of for a long time.

MIP alanon Campout was awsesome!

We camped out, made a fire, cooked smores, had a lobster feast, biked by the beach, saw a "Beach Boys" concert on the beach, made crafts - bookmarks for our many books, walked on the beach and got our toes in the sand

 

We also shared our experience strength and hope with each other. The online hugs are good but the real life hugs while I cried were awesome. It was wonderful to see each others faces as we shared our lives.

Thanks so much for having us over alamom, it was a wonderful experience

 It was an honor, for real ...I got there late ...personal business ....( blah)

I am so happy for all of you :)  I feel the love you shared right now. It is great that we can meet such wonderful genuine people online and then meet them in person too. If not in person, we still cherish the friendships no matter how we can help each other. I wish I could have been there but I really can feel the connection too from the posts here. your friend, cdb :)
