A problem I have now is this. My daughter's car, pets and her belongings are here from when she traveled to reno. She still has not opened her birthday cards which have money in them. Her medication is in her car in our garage too....BigConcern. I seem to relax and then I think of these things. Gosh, I hate this! cdb Thanks for prayers.

Daughter called collect from Walmart. She said she needed me to pick her up and please not freak out on her. I said I was sending dad and she said, no,you come. Hubby heard the conversation. On the say I decided to keep my mouth shut and my heart open. For all I knew she could have been raped. She got in the car. I asked her where she needed me to give her a ride to. She said she needed her recharger for her cell phone since her phone is dead. I said I would drive her to my house so she could get her things (luggage she had left) and she could drive her car back to her apartment. It was very quiet in the car...15 mile drive home. I told her I am looking forward to having birthday cake with her and having her open her cards. I asked if she was hungry and she said no. I drove through burger king to order for me and asked if she wanted anything,,,she still said no. I was hungry myself. I told her I bought kitten food for her kitten and she could bring 1/2 of it back with her along with the kitten. She just listened. We got home and she went upstairs, got her suitcases, borrowed our cell phone charger and said she would bring it back later. I said goodbye to her. Hubby kept his mouth shut since I about bit his head off before I left. WE are now sitting here. We can always talk to her later about the others things she already knows about. For now, I have this feeling she is going to get herself to an AA meeting. My strong gutt instinct. It is nice not to have all that drama we had for years. All the yelling, screaming, etc. I know she will be back later on. I know she is back on her road to recovery, :) cdb

with all of us praying for all of you how could she not come home?  We are here carrying you till you can stand alone again!

I am glad that she contacted you.  Even tho she did not talk to you much at least she listened.  I will pray for her too , to continue on to an AA meeting.  hugs to you, Mamasan

So sorry to hear of daughter's relapse.  I know it is very disappointing but it isn't the end of the world.  I believe that relapses happen because they need them to learn something about themselves to go to the next stage of recovery.  I pray that she returns to her AA meetings and does what she needs to do to get on that road again.  Take care of yourself and try to be patient.  Email me if you need to.  Your friend in recovery, Lisa
