Noticing progress in my self is really nice these days!! It is welcoming to actually be able to see the "light" and have humor rather than dispare!! Finding that the tense feeling in my body is flowing away is just great!
This has not come easily but with working my program and being active with in my recovery does help so much. I attended my first gratitude round up wich I really enjoyed and listening to all the ESH was tremendously humbeling. It keeps me grounded to listen to the AA speakers and I find that I am able to find compassion again. It was a wonderful way to end a stressfull week.
I am also very excuited about a new meeting in my area that I found out about at this round up and I can bring my kids wich is just great. It is quite a drive but I am sure it will be well worth it. I told hubby about this meeting and let him know that I am looking forward to it and my son started asking questions about it and he is even looking forward to comming, wich I find great as I have seen that he has much anger these days. It is on Friday nights which is even better because that particular night is the worst for all of us.
I chaired my forst meeting on Tuesday night and supprisingly I was not as nervous as I thought I would be and I think that me comming out of shell has been another step for me at f2f. I know here that I am very open but in thoes rooms looking at all the people just seems a little more difficult to me, but hey I am comming arround.
I haven't been on here for a few days so I just wanted to update all of you.
Hubbys attempt at "trying" only lasted a week but that is up to him and I have to let him come arround on his own time. All I can do for him is be encouraging and supportive and hold on to the bit of hope that I have.
Any how I feel too good about myself to worry about what he does so that is that.
Living in today is the best for me and that is just fine with me.

Hi jj, I'm so glad you are feeling better all around. Great that you are concentrating on you and the kids. well... at least he tried for a week, maybe next time it'll be 2, who knows? Great for you and the kids to get out of the 'Fri. night atmosphere' and do something for all of you in recovery.Keep on kickin'. Love Ya! TLC
