Thoughts of healing and Hi to all,
Thanks all for thinking of UK Josh.
He is getting better and better!
Totally off life support now, which
is pretty awesome for a tbi (trauma
brain injury) 10 year old. He can
not remember some words as yet
and thinks his leg is broken, as it
is the part of his braiin that was
injured.
Here is his progress note - it says
where he is better than I could.
Againl thanks - oceans of love to all - \/\/ille

There is some good news about Josh!
He has been moved to an intensive rehabilitation unit at the Royal
London
hospital for 6 weeks. He's been there a week already. He is repepating
words, altho they don't think he understands what they mean. He has
said his
leg is broken (because it doesn't work). He is also trying to feed
himself
but missing. It's already far more than they had hoped for. At the end
of
the 6 weeks he will be assessed to see if they think he can make more
improvement. If so he will go to a rehab centre in Surrey for 6 months.
If
not I assume they take him home.
My friend from junior school who I found last year after all this time,
just
sent me a pic of her graduation. 55 years old and got a degree in Civil
Engineering! She isn't the engineering type at all. Good on her.
Re the poo, I've buried it in the garden so he will always be a part of
it.
Lovesya Wille.

I am so happy that Josh is improving. It all takes time, lots and lots of prayers and love. Sending him lots of prayers and love. Am praying for his family too ( not sure if that's you?) It must be so heartbreaking for everyone, but at least he is still with you/them!
I find the Alanon slogans help me in every aspect of life. One step at a time, one second at a time. Lots and lots of prayers, Love TLC
