I was wondering what are the best books for a newcomer. I don't have alot of time (three kids) but know I need to start finding anwers. Also I don't go to face to face meetings. I am only onthis website. I have seen then here to oder but MY A dosen't like ordering over the computer and I would rather not start a fight. I also don't want then to come in the mail. Another fight. Any Help would be great.
Thanks Nikkilou

hi Nik, I love the book, "Getting Them Sober." It is easy to read and with
your busy schedule it would be perfect.
The one day at a time is good, as is courage to change. Both are a daily reader.
OH ya want volume one of the book above.
I like to go to Goodwill and used book stores and dig up alanon and aa books.
Hope ya find what ya need love, debilyn

Hi Nickilou,
One of my favorites is "The Language of Letting Go", it has daily readins that can be quick and still make enough of an impression to give you something to think on for the day.

Hi Nickilou
I too like the book "Getting them sober".
I also like "Co-dependant no More", "The Battle of the Booze", and "Games Alcoholics Play". I know all of these are available in the Library, Barnes and Nobles or any decent book store.
