I have started on my increased dosage of Prozac...hope it helps. the therapist told me to keep taking it and accept teh fact that I am depressed. I explained to her that I felt it was the most useless of emotions. I am just trying to wait it out and wait for things to get better. I don't think the depression can get better until the situation gets better. Today I am worried about what the kids will eat for dinner. I have exhausted all of the community resources in a few short weeks. My income cannot support all five of us. I feel so stuck...and hungry.

Have you got a food bank in your community?
You're right, it's hard to focus on getting better when your situation is desperate. Prayer never hurts, though.

(((Powerless)))
I know around here we have food pantries. They give out bags of food to families who need it, three times a week.
Like the others have said pasta is cheap and it can be changed around to make some variety and feed the kids.
Also how about the schools, ours can sometimes offer help to families in need. Too much pride is never a good thing and there is no shame in asking for help to get through the hard times.
I will pray that things start to look up for you and yours.
