YOU DID IT ! 

I'm so proud of you  !  You DID it ...I am so glad this part is done and only sorry to see you must endure one more ordeal

This happened to me to ...007 spewed lie after lie ...I was feeling so scared and desperate ...I needed the support to survive ... I was so worried that the Judge would side w/ my ex or feel sorry for him

It did not happen ...My ex was trying to end my support ....he lied , he also had his daughter ( 28 yrs old and sharp as a tack ) HELP him , by coming to court and they typed up a bunch of lies that they gave to the judge and handed to ME FIVE MINUTES before we went before a judge

I had no time to read thru the lies , much less refute or prove them untrue

He had his say ... I had mine ... he talked again ... I asked the judge "May I pls say one more thing ?" he said "No ! you may not !" 

I was terrified , my ex looked smug and victorious

I went to lunch w/ my friends and we called a lawyer friend ... we then went to the library to type up my rebuttals ...woking a fevered pace ( it was AWFUL)

we rush back to the court house ...court room is still in session for like 5 minutes ,,, the judge sees me and LEAVES the room

We ask the clerk of courts if we can add to the file she says no and is nasty

nasty about the fact that " you should have a lawyer "

I told her

this man tried to kill me , he has a police record , i am disabled because of him and he impoverished me ... i get my food from a food bank from donations where i volunteer ...i couldnt possibly afford a LAYWER i dont have FOOD .,.. because of  what he has done to our lives

I am not representing myself by CHOICE

I am not IN this court room by CHOICE ...."

She refused the paper work , she said " why dont you just wait the 2 weeks for the rulkingin the mail ?"

I said " because my very LIFE depends upon this money and his lying about his income ...of course i have to wait for the law .. I am not asking to break the law ... I am merely saying  that he submitted written LIES FIVE MINUTES BEFORE COURT , that i had NO time to review or refute "

she shook her head wan was unyeliding and disapppeared

as we were leaving , a baliff came outr and said are you XXXX ?

I said yes

he hsaid "stick around for 5 minutes the judge has something for you "

OMG ...he came back smiling and handed me a paper and said "These are the court orders , have a nice day"

We opened them and they said 2 words ....

MOTION DENIED !
MOTION DENIED !

I WON ... the Judge HAD seen thru all the A's lies ...the best part was , my ex left smug and victorious and i could relax THATDAY  that I was OK and HE got a ruling in the MAIL 2 weeks later  *L*

I am not laughing at my ex ... but was pretty amazed at the way my HP took care of me

John from here had told me " your ex is NOT your Higher Power !  your HIGHER POWER is , your Higher Power " and John was right

I prayed for you last night and today and will continue to do so ...I do believe that HP is and WILL take care of you in ways we cant see yet and I promise it WILL get better

Thanks so very much Fiona,,I have always been the person who people came to for help, and even advice at times. It has been so very hard for me to even ask for encouragement on this message board, even tho I have never met any of you personally and face to face. You see I struggled with this alone for so many years thinking I could "fix" it all,,,find the solutions. Even asking help from friends and family is extremely foreign to me, as I have always "did it myself" by myself etc etc. So I thank you very much for stepping forward and sharing your life "saga" with me, which in turn gave me hope, and all the rest who were kind enough to respond. Alone we fail it seems,,together we heal,,that is something I have learned from this program. Thanks again
