HI everybody.

I live in Alaska and have been in the program almost a year. I really need to get a sponsor. I go to meetings regularly but am having a challenge finding any guys who be interested in sponsoring; it was suggested I try online. I am really grateful for the al-anon program but need some help with this. Any ideas? Thanks!

many 'guys' will be willing to sponsor you online.......

so here's what you do.....

go to the Alanon chatroom for meetings 9:00am and 9:00pm.  or go to open chat all other times.  you can express your desire for a sponsor there or wait and listen for someone who's got some years in the program and shares wisdom you think you can relate to.  we usually stick to same sex sponsors as well.  when you find someone you can relate to.....simply ask them.
