Glad you are here! I have not been with alanon for that long but if you are looking for a sponsor I suggest that you go to the group chat and meet some people and once you have an idea of who might be a good sponsor you could ask them at the chat.

Hi Mandy. Noticed your post was eight days ago and wondered if you have had any luck finding a sponsor. Are there meetings in your area, or are you just having trouble getting to them? I've found my best luck is to stick with f2f sponsors, even if you can't get to meetings a lot, but if there are none available to you in your area the internet is an option. I have been in al-anon 13 years and have only come on-line in the last two, due to problems getting to meetings. I have a f2f sponsor and also use on-line meetings and chat to suppliment my the f2f meetings that I am able to get too. I would love to talk to you more if you still need a sponsor.
